Series ARV
Provide Thermoplastic Schedule 80 [enter PVC or CPVC] Air Release Valve [enter size 1/2", 3/4”, 1”, 1 ¼”, 1 1/2”, 2”, 3” or 4”] with [enter NPT female threaded, or socket] ports. Valve will allow safe expulsion of entrapped air in the piping system during startups. Self-guided poppet shall provide a balance of buoyancy and seal ability with minimal discharge of system liquid. Seals will be [EPDM or Viton] and valve shall close at 0 psi, and seal bubble tight at 10 psi with EPDM [or enter 20 psi with Viton] When pressure and liquid level drop the ARV shall automatically open. ARV shall be free of any wetted metal components. Design shall include a union connection on ½”, ¾”, 1”, 1 ½” and 2” and stainless steel fasteners on 1 ¼”-4” to simplify valve inspection/removal and minimize the shutdown time. Optional dust cap available [enter –C after model number]. ARV shall be rated for a maximum inlet pressure of 150 psi @75 deg. F. All units are to be 100% individually tested at the factory as manufactured by Plast-O-Matic Valves, Inc., Cedar Grove, NJ.
